Everton have once again left it late to complete their transfer dealings heading into the 2018/19 season.
Yerry Mina – In
A window long transfer target of Marco Silva, Mina is now set to finalise a deal to Goodison park. There maybe a hiccup between now and the deadline on Thursday with Barcelona trying to incite a bidding war between Manchester United and Everton, with the Catalonian club offering Man.utd Mina as part of a deal for Paul Pogba.
Mina is said to be happy with Everton’s terms and has already turned his back on Jose Mourinho’s personal contracts. A medical could take place on Wednesday.
Marcus Rojo – In
In yet another twist, Everton appear to be very interested in Marcus Rojo. A deal that maybe dependant on Man.utd signing a replacement, Rojo could come to Goodison Park along with Yerry Mina from Barcelona.
Marcel Brands is thought to be behind the push for Rojo’s signature with things hotting up as the deadline approaches.
Bernard – In
Make no mistake if Everton can pull this deal off it could be one of the signings of the summer. The Brazilian attacker would be some coop for the club with Shaktar Donesk struggling to get their current man to agree a new deal.
Bernard’s contract is all but up and Everton will be looking to sign him on a ‘free’. Chelsea may cause a slight obstruction as they have tabled a money offer, but Bernard is set on a Merseyside move.
Yannick Bolasie – Out
Marco Silva has reportedly informed Bolasie that his services will not be required this season. The winger has found himself out of favour and a move to Middlesborough now looks very likely. Everton signed Bolasie for £30mil under Ronald Koeman’s management, but with a long injury lay off and some questioning his physical fitness, the wide man looks set to leave.
A fee of around £15mil-£18mil could be agreed between Everton and Middlesborough as early as Wednesday.
