Theo Walcott will spend today at Finch Farm to undergo a medical and have a look around the Everton training facility.
The Blues will then look to announce the signing of the Arsenal forward in a deal worth around £20m. Everton have also agreed to match the England internationals current wage of approx £110k a week.
There has been previous interest from Southampton and more recently Bournemouth.
However like we reported earlier in the week, the Toffees entered the race and look to have secured the deal quickly.
If all goes to plan today, after agreeing terms Walcott looks set to be included in Saturdays squad, with Sam Allardyce keen to get the team back to winning ways.
It is believed that Walcott, 28, would prefer a strikers role at Everton, but Allardyce has made it clear in a recent press conference that there would be no guarantee of that for the English forward. It is understood that Everton’s manager sees Walcott as a left wing option in order to add more fire power down both flanks, with Yannick Bolasie returning to the side.
