• The positives; lookman and Baningime. Both put in a good shift. Baningime looked calm and great on the ball, lookman running at defenders is what we’ve been looking for.

At last some determination and persistence. It Looked like the defiance, structure and determination had finally started to pay off.

Started  the second half well created a couple of opportunities. With a target man would things have been different?

Defensive capitulation

•  Bit of bad luck with the tackle and deflection into the path of the goalscorer Or just slow, bad defending?

Schneiderlin should hang his head for his complete bottle-less, unprofessional act that lead to his red card. Potentially the main cause of the total capitulation.

But once again, once the heads went down it highlighted that the defence was too slow and out of position to stop the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Luck is a commodity that can be created

• You earn your luck by playing at the right end of the pitch. 65 minute performances don’t earn luck and don’t win games.
Out of the EFL cup , out of Europe. So, can we make the improvements in the premier league with no distraction? What’s your thoughts blues ?
